King Neptune Fish and Chips is a true gem! I was absolutely blown away by their Pie and Mash. It's clear that everything is made fresh, and the traditional in-house made liquor elevates the dish to another level. I went for a 2 and 2 with liquor and the pastry on the pie was perfectly flaky, the mash was creamy and smooth, and the liquor was rich and flavorful. It’s a proper, comforting, and delicious meal. I just had a the most magnificent lunch at King Neptune fish & chip shop in Edgware. As I entered the shop, I was greeted by Adam and Mary who were the nicest, most friendliest people you could ever wish to meet! The shop was very clean, and it had a fantastic and very varied menu. I initially came for the traditional fish and chips, but once I spotted my beloved pie and mash on the board there was no turning back! I ordered the double pie and single mash with the infamous liquor, and then took my seat in the quaint little eating area at the rear. The service was fast, and before long I was devouring a hot plate of the most delicious & tasty food. Forward wind 10 hours….OMG, I can testify now that the food did not touch the sides as I finished eating it. It was yummy!! I highly recommend the King Neptune. I left the establishment feeling very happy & satisfied, what with the prices being reasonable and the food so filling, plus add to that the very pleasant, peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I will definitely be returning soon. verdict: 10/10 AAA***

I used to come here 40-odd years ago with my dad, grew up, left London, and came back to visit recently – this place is just as I remember it. The main exception is they now take cards! The fish is the best you'll get anywhere, and proper chips cooked perfectly. When I went, I had a 10 min wait while they cooked it, and was def worth the wait. My only disappointment is they're closed on Sunday and Monday, as is traditional for chippys.

Very good fish. Lovely meaty bit of cod. Very good chips. Very good service. The weather was 'kin well hot too. Not easy to smile working in a kitchen in the heat, but they did it. My Mrs had the savloy because she is a philistine. It was also good. Bargain too. Mushy peas and pickled gherkins and onions... all splendid. 20$👏 💐 🥳 🎊
